On Saturday 25 July, on Italy 1 and Mediaset Infinity will air the second chapter of the stories set in one of the most dangerous parks in the history of cinema, Jurassic Park. The appointment with the second film of the saga, “The Lost World” is for tonight at about 21:20 on Italy1. The Lost World – Jurassic Park was released in the cinema five years after the first, in 1998, always directed by Steven Spielberg. The film, although not reaching the levels of the first, has however cashed more than $618 million in the world.

It’s been four years since that devastating experimental visit to Jurassic Park. The prof. Ian Malcom has survived, and he will be again encircled with IanGen, when he will be contacted by former administrator John Hammond. Hammond reveals to him that the park they visited was only an island dedicated to tourists, but the place where all the action takes place is another: Isla Sorna. A place where clonings really happen and where dinosaurs continued to live unknowingly.
The island is now in the sight of Hammond’s grandson, Peter Ludlow, who wants to take possession of it to create a park in the middle of the city of San Diego. So Hammond will ask Malcom to make a documentary on the island and push the media towards the narrative that the island should be left in peace, preserving the quiet of dinosaurs. The paleontologue Sarah Harding is already on the island, so Malcom, first reluctant, will accept only to protect it. They will again face the fury of dinosaurs, and the thirst for power and money of Peter Ludlow and his team of scientists, who will do everything to hinder them.
