The increasingly popular platform for the YA intrigues of love will propose from 5 August Sterling Point – The island of secrets a new TV series Prime Video Original, a story of formation that mixes drama, mystery and romance. The cast is led by Ella Rubin, flanked by Keen Ruffalo, Jay Duplass and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Sterling Point – The island of secrets tells the passage to adulthood through a story that interweaves personal growth, relationships and family mysteries. At the heart of the story there is Annie’s desire to understand her origins, while the island that she inherited keeps truths destined to change her future.
La trama
The protagonist is Annie Jacobson, a 17-year-old girl who grew up in New York with her twin brother and foster father. His life suddenly changes when he discovers he has inherited an island in Canada belonging to the mysterious grandfather he has never known.
Transferred to Sterling Point, Annie is immersed in a completely different reality than she grew up in. Among new friends, the first loves and an environment full of charm, the girl begins to reconstruct the history of her family, discovering hidden secrets for generations and truths that will question everything she believed she knew about her past.

The series is directed and developed by Megan Park, who also plays co-showrunner and executive producer. Executive production also includes Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, former series creators such as The O.C. and Gossip Girl, along with Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley for LuckyChap, the production house co-founded by Margot Robbie.
