Update on December 8 – The international box office is still dominated by the Chinese film Ne Zha 2 that arrived at $9 billion. Lilo & Stitch exceeded billion dollars, third A Minecraft Film, flies Zootropia 2 arrived at 915 million in a few weeks. Superman and F1 exceed 600 million, The Fantastic 4 exceeds 500 million, Wicked 2 debuts with 226 million.

Il 2024
The 2024 was dominated by the Disney world with Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine the only two films to exceed the billion dollars per box office. Third place for Bad Me 4. But the trend is clear: Family films that can embrace all the audience as much as possible, are of course the only ones able to conquer the tops of the world box office.
In 2023 the least transversal phenomenon had been Oppenheimer while in 2024 we can insert in this category Dune – Part 2 or Godzilla and Kong: The new empire even if they remain in any case of genre films. The surprise in 2024 was definitely Beetlejuice Bettlejuice with $451 million better than the Gladiator 2 to $449 million.
