News TV series: Apple orders a Monarch spinoff: Legacy of Monsters

Darktown is a historic thriller set in Atlanta in 1948, where the first 2 black cops had to patrol the black neighborhood of the city. When they see a former white cop crashing into a pole, they let him go, but then they find out in his car a black girl killed. They will begin to discover a network of corruption that crosses the police and the elite of the city.

The God of the Woods

Netflix ordered The God of the Woods, adaptation of Liz Moore’s novel that will be showrunner with Liz Hannah. In the center the story of the disappearance of a girl, Barbara Van Llar, from a summer center in 1975, after 14 years before the brother had also disappeared.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, lo spinoff

Apple TV announced the expansion of Legendary Monsterverse with a new, untitled prequel series dedicated to a young Lee Shaw, with Wyatt Russell taking over the role of Colonel Lee Shaw. Joby Harold will be screenwriter and producer and oversee the entire Monsterverse franchise for Apple TV.

The spin-off series will follow the story of Colonel Lee Shaw, an American agent who in 1984 embarks on a secret mission beyond the enemy lines in an attempt to stop the Soviets from freeing a new, terrifying Titan, large enough to destroy the United States and change the fates of the Cold War.
