A Testa alta, la trama
Sabrina Ferilli is Virginia Terzi, principal of a high school in a village on the lake at the gates of Rome. Bright educator and creator of A Testa Alta, a project against digital dependence. Suddenly it is overwhelmed by a media scandal for the spread of an intimate video. The community splits, the mud machine starts and Virginia has to defend itself, her son and the values in which she believes.
While the village observes and judges it, Virginia tries to get up. Next to her is Rocco (Francesco Petit), the 16-year-old son, sensitive and passionate about chess, who faces the consequences of the scandal while living his first love for Nina (Lucia Balordi), a classmate trapped in a toxic relationship with Alex (Andrea Pittorino), son of Mayor Morrone (Augusto Fornari).
To support Virginia there are Giulia (Maria Chiara Augenti), vice principal and friend, and Marco Colaianni (Raniero Monaco Di Lapio), professor of physical education who will be ready to expose himself to protect Virginia from the consequences of the video, but also and above all from the threats that the woman begins to receive. But who can have it with the principal and why? To answer this question will be fundamental the support of Cecilia (Gioia Spaziani), sister and police inspector: Two opposite characters are those of the two women, united by a deep bond that will risk cracking during the investigation. Virginia’s determination to discover the truth could compromise Cecilia’s work.
Meanwhile, out there, an invisible enemy continues to hit Virginia, trying in every way to get her out of school and isolate her. Suspects will be trained on her husband Luigi (Fabrizio Ferracane), a brilliant lawyer who hides a secret, but also on the greedy builder Bodoni (Ninni Bruschetta) and on her beautiful and young daughter, Elena (Lorena Cacciatore).
