Don Matteo returns for the fifteenth season and is ready once again to conquer the hearts of all spectators, thanks to his protagonist, Don Massimo interpreted by Roul Bova, always ready to help the neighbor together with the irreplaceable Natalina (Natalie Guetta) and Pippo and of course to the Marshal Cecchini (Nino Frassica).
The series starts on Rai 1 on 8 January and will occupy 10 evenings. Produced by Lux Vide company of the group Fremantle, in collaboration with Rai Fiction is directed by Alexis Sweet, Alessandro Tonda, Tobia Campana, Riccardo Donna and Tiziana Aristarco. These are the questions behind the new season of Don Matteo and which will concern our protagonists: Don Massimo, Cecchini, the Captain, Giulia but also the new characters. Each of them, who first, who then, will be called to wonder: What is my place in the world?
Captain Diego Martini and Giulia Mezzanotte, sister of Don Massimo, in this new season, after having crowned their song of love will be happy and in love but also begin to wonder what their future will be. And if Diego seems to have the clearest ideas, Giulia is more concerned.
In Spoleto comes the new marshal, Caterina Provvedi. But his transfer is the result of a disguise and he will have to see it with Cecchini. Catherine hides a world she still holds for herself, like a secret. A secret that, at first, shares only with Don Massimo. But even Don Massimo will face new challenges this season. He will suddenly enter into a very young pregnant and memoryless teenager, who will call Mary and who, together with her child, the little Max, will welcome in the canon.
In addition to the investigative problems, Don Massimo will also find himself with problems to ‘father’, finding himself to make the double father of a child of a few months and a teenager. The difficulties are many but also the questions: where does Mary come from? What happened to her? Finding an answer will become a priority for our priest, for the sake of the girl and her child. Because the past of Mary is the key to everything and hides a threat that Don Maxim will have to recognize and stop in time.
