Lamborghini: The Man behind The Legend is produced by Lambofilm, Zian Films, Grindstone Entertainment Group and Iervolino and Lady Bacardi Entertainment, was released in selected films in the United States on 18 November 2022, by Lionsgate. In Italy it was streaming on Prime Video in January 2023 and on January 23, 2026 it was first seen on Rai 2 in clear.

The film, as it is intuitive, follows the life of Ferruccio Lamborghini, an iconic and courageous entrepreneur who brought the company of the same name from the production of tractors (at the beginning of his career) to the creation of a luxury car, unique from the point of view of design and construction, destined to become a symbol of power, elegance and also Italianity, passing through the creation of military vehicles during the Second World War. The story of a man, of course, but also the history of a family and a deep and rooted legacy.

Frank Grillo, Italian-American star of action films, is faced with a new challenge for his successful career: in fact plays the protagonist of the film, Ferruccio Lamborghini. His young version is interpreted by Romano Reggiani. As the eternal rival Enzo Ferrari in Prime Video’s Lamborghini film is Gabriel Byrne. Mira Sorvino plays Annita, Matteo Leoni Matteo, Hannah Van Der Westhuysen is Clelia and Francesca Tizzano is Gabriella.
In the cast also Francesca De Martini (Evelina Lamborghini), Giulio Mezza (Edmondo Lamborghini), Giovanni Scotti (Silvio Lamborghini) and Giorgio Cantarini (Giorgio Lamborghini). Fortunato Cerlino could not miss, as Antonio Lamborghini.
