Tonight on TV Sunday February 1st Rai4 will air the film Derailed – Lethal psychological thriller attraction that plays on the paranoia, with Jennifer Aniston, Vincent Cassel and Clive Owen. Directed by suspense expert Mikael Håfström, former director of “Drowning Ghost – Dark Attendances”, “1408” and “Escape Plan – Escape from Hell”, and taken from the homonymous novel by James Siegel, the film cashed $57.5 million worldwide in 2005.

The film has at the center the strong attraction between Charles and Lucinda, two strangers both married, who become lovers and one night decide to meet in the room of a motel. Charles is a chart, father happily married, the meeting with Lucinda is casual, by train but the attraction is immediately strong. The night of the motel everything seems perfect but they are interrupted by a miserable, LaRoche, who rapes Lucinda and hurts Charles.
The dramatic experience causes Lucinda to stop their relationship. Charles would like to call the police but Lucinda, married to a very rich man, is not in agreement, for fear of losing his agiance and to prevent their families from discovering their relationship. The criminal will start blackmailing Charles, threatening to release his loophole if he doesn’t give him $20,000. And it will be just the beginning.
