The latest effort by Istrian director Edgar Wright, Last Night in Soho, is ready to land on TV on Rai 4 Tuesday, February 3, 2026. A mysterious connection through time and space. Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie), an aspiring fashion designer, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where he meets a fascinating aspirant singer, Sandy (Anya Taylor-Joy). But the dreams of the past begin to crack and shatter into something much darker.
The film has undergone several postponements due to the Covid-19 pandemic, letting the publication slip twice. It was presented at 78a Venice International Film Festival on September 4, 2021. Released in American cinemas on October 29, it has now cashed $6.502,460, in front of a production budget of approximately 43 million.
On the Rotten Tomatoes website, the film has a 70% rating based on 67 reviews, with an average rating of 6.7/10. On Metacritic, it has a weighted average score of 67 out of 100, based on 18 reviews from the specialized press.

Eloise is a fashion student who has just arrived in London, obsessed with the past and wanted to live the splendor of London in the 1960s. However, it has an extraordinary psychic gift that will allow you to make this desire come true. When he goes to live in a rented room in an old house owned by Mrs. Collins (Diana Rigg), he will begin to have and live night dreams: Eloise finds himself living the life of Sandie (Anya Taylor-Joy), a starlet from the 1960s. Sandie is an aspiring singer, dancer, actress, a star looking for success. All Sandie’s dreams seem to be able to come true when he meets the fascinating Jack (Matt Smith), a manager who could introduce her to the right people to break, and Eloise is dragged with her in an intoxicating adventure made of first love, reflectors and great dreams.
Eloise immediately adopts Sandie as a model. When the life of Sandie takes a darker turn, Eloise understands that the glamor of the 1960s is not as he believed, and there are shadows pouring into the daily existence of Eloise, while the problems of Sandie become a loop around her neck.
