Thursday 12 February on channel 20 of the digital terrestrial will air the film “Focus – Nothing is as it seems“. The film is written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, and sees the famous actors Will Smith and Margot Robbie as the protagonists. The protagonist of the film is Nicky Spurgeon a very charming man who makes the scammer. Nicky inherited the talent and tricks of the trade from his family, considered expert in scams. His specialty is to distract the victims with a detail, while he steals the loot acting undisturbed.
One day, as she is in New Orleans, she meets Jess Barrett in a club, a girl who asks her to mentor her, so she can become an expert in troops. Between the two soon a strong attraction arises and the strictly professional relationship that existed at the beginning will turn into a relationship. During a football game the two manage to score a $2 million hit. Nicky gives Jess his share and then decides to leave her as she thinks she’s too emotionally involved, and that this might be a business deterrent.
Three years later, during a Formula 1 race in Buenos Aires, the two meet. Nicky is surprised at the beginning, then known as Jess honed his techniques over the years, becoming a real professional. So the feelings she felt for her wake up, which will risk her shot she’s been planning for months. But in the end he understands that Jess can be a resource, not a weakness, and when they can finish a blow the two come back to the United States together. But they don’t know that the scams have no intention of giving up the loot..
