Prime Video announced the arrival on 29 April of La Casa degli Spiriti, the first serial adaptation in Spanish language of the famous novel by Isabel Allende, which is part of the original international productions of the platform. Both the novel and the film with Jeremy Irons, Meryl Streep, Glen Close have a very affectionate and protective audience, not by chance on social media there is no doubt about adaptation.

Based on Isabel Allende’s novel, acclaimed internationally, The House of Spirits is a family saga in eight episodes that embraces half a century, focused on three generations of women – Clara, Blanca and Alba – in a South American conservative country shaped by class struggle, political tumults and magic.

Alfonso Herrera (Rebel Moon) will dress the cloths of Esteban Trueba, along with Nicole Wallace (It’s our fault) and Dolores Fonzi (Belén) who play Clara del Valle in different stages of his life. The cast includes, among others, Fernanda Castillo (The Lord of the Skies) in the role of Férula, Aline Kuppenaya (A fantastic woman) in that of Nivea del Valle, Eduard Fernández (The skin I live) in the part of Severo del Valle, Sara Becker (The little girl who recounted the films) and Fernanda Urrejola (Cry Macho.
Isabel Allende, Eva Longoria and Courtney Saladino are executive producer of the series along with showrunner Francisca Alegría (The Cow Who Sang a Song Into the Future), Fernanda Urrejola (Cry Macho – Return to Home), and Andrés Wood (News of a Kidnapping).
The series is produced by FilmNation Entertainment, the award-winning Oscar-winning company that created Anora and Conclave, with the support of Fabula, Chilean production house Oscar (A Memoria Infinita, A Fantastic Woman).
