About a week after the US debut on STARZ, it arrives in Italy on Sky and NOW the eighth and last season of Outlander from Saturday 14 March with a weekly bet available on demand and on Sky Series at 21.15 (in the USA the release began on March 6). The final season of Outlander is composed of 10 episodes and will end next May 18.
Created in 2014 by Ronald D. Moore and based on Diana Gabaldon’s best-selling literary saga, Outlander has been able to interweave romanticism and adventure, oscillating between drama and fantasy, and recounting universal themes such as love, family and identity. The narrative universe expanded beyond the main series with the prequel Blood of My Blood (available on Sky / NOW, along with all Outlander seasons), already confirmed for a new season. In the last cycle of episodes, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) return to Fraser’s Ridge: the war is over, but the struggle to protect home and family has just begun.

After leaving behind the American War of Independence, Jamie and Claire Fraser return to Fraser’s Ridge and are welcomed by newcomers and changes to their community over the years gone far. The MacKenzie return with information from the future that, to them unknowing, predict mortal consequences for some family members and for the entire community of Fraser’s Ridge. Although they have left the war behind for the freedom of America, their battle for Fraser’s Ridge has just begun.
