Assassin’s Creed: riprese a Roma e le ultime dal cast
Netflix announced the start of Assassin’s Creed shoots in Rome. The series will tell an original story and will be set in the Rome of 64 AD. The production will take place mainly in Cinecittà, and will expand the existing Set of Ancient Rome to return the dive in that historical period in the shooting. At the center of the adaptation of the videogame a war in the shadow in progress between two secret factions, one with the aim of deciding the future of humanity through control and manipulation, the other determined to fight to preserve its free will. The series follows its characters through key moments of history in the battle for the fate of humanity.

Krysten Ritter with Steve Yockey and Berlanti Productions is working on Retreat adaptation of his eponymous novel. Ritter should also be the protagonist with Warner Bros the studio. At the heart of this darkly comedy thriller there will be Liz Dawson a crook who has always changed his identity by remaining in control of his life until he takes the identity of a rich woman who died in Punta Mita in Mexico, finding herself in a Hitchockian mystery with several people beginning to die.
Enigma Variations
Netflix ordered the adaptation of the novel Enigma Variations, written by Andrè Aciman (Call me with your name). Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be the protagonist and will take over Jeremy Allen White who was originally tied to the project developed by Media Res. Written by Amanda Kate Shuman, directed by Oliver Hermanus, he has at the center the story of Paul who in the last 10 years has been transformed by the people he loved, a portrait of sexuality, masculinity and love in modern times.
The Challengers
Amazon ordered The Challengers miniseries with Kristen Stewart as physics and astronaut Sally Ride, the first American woman to fly into space. Maggie Cohn will be screenwriter and showrunner. The miniseries, inspired by the novel The New Guys by Meredith E. Bagby, will tell both the journey into space in 1983, and the work of the commission called to investigate the incident of the Space Shuttle Challenger in 1987.

Berlin Noir: Jessica Gunning, Maxine Peake, Daniel Mays, Sam Riley, Roger Allam, Liz Kingsman e Carys Daniels entrano nel cast della serie tv ancora senza titolo ispirata alla saga letteraria di Berlin Noir di Philip Kerr. La saga ha come protagonista Bernie Gunther detective nella Berlino degli anni ’30, con la serie che ne racconterà le origini nel 1928.

The Rockford Files pilot: Felix Solis entra nel cast del reboot in lavorazione a NBC con al centro un ex detenuto per un crimine che non ha commesso che torna a fare l’investigatore a Los Angeles. Solis sarà Nitty il miglior amico di Rockford (David Boreanaz).
