Midnight Factory Plaion Pictures label dedicated to genre cinema gives a gift to fans of Mario Bava. In fact, for the first time in Italy and in blu-ray a box dedicated to the Italian horror film master and the Italian thriller-yellow.
Director of photography and filmmaker and screenwriter, he became famous because despite the budgets available, limited shooting times and actors not always up to date, he managed to make cult films, which gave birth to cinema genres until then unpublished. Thanks to its creative vein and the few means available, it has made special effects and simple but ingenious cinematic tricks in an era when digital effects were not yet reality. He also left his son Lamberto as a heir of his poetics, who also became a cult fantasy director.
After Ruggero Deodato and Rob Zombie (the latest), another filmmaker has its own box dedicated to the Midnight Classic series.

Presented in Limited Edition Midnight Classics numbered, the box includes a booklet, collector’s card, an exclusive cover art and these 6 cult films in Blu-ray:

An accurate selection that contains some genre titles, such as Reazione movie a catena (1971) considered the precursor of slasher, along with six women for the killer (1964). The collection is valuable: numbered, with a hard carded digipack that opens in book and in the pages it finds well settled the disks. Good restoration work in HD.
The booklet is full of interviews and behind the scenes, presenting well the box and making of films. The postcards take back the historical inns of the selected films, showing all the visual impact of the Master on the history of cinema. Just like the cover specially made for the occasion.
