A journey without moving but exploring yourself and family ties. Parecchio Paris is the last effort (in order of time) by Leonardo Pieraccioni. Exit to the cinema in January 2024 spent on TV on Sky Cinema, on demand and streaming on NOW in July of the same year, returns to reply Wednesday 27 May 2026 on Rai 1. Next to Pieraccioni Nino Frassica who plays his father, while Chiara Francini and Giulia Bevilacqua are the other two daughters.
Three brothers in conflict and with never-believers who find themselves to fulfill the regret desire of the old father – interpreted by Nino Frassica: finally see Paris. The journey will never leave because being practically blind, the 3 will decide not to move from Tuscany…because it seems a lot of Paris.
Pare Parecchio Parigi, la trama
To fulfill the wish, now regretted, that he has an old and sick father of not having made a trip to Paris with his children here is that the three brothers who have not spoken for five years, will pretend to leave with him from Florence on board a camper, that will never leave the borders of a horse riding stable.
That trip, staged because the children were forbidden to remove the father from the hospital structure he entrusted to him, will become a paradoxical, adventurous and irresistible opportunity to try to make the brothers and try to reconcile with their father. With the engine of imagination you can make thousands of kilometers: if you can’t go to Paris, Paris can come to us! After all, even if you go around the world, you always come back to the usual point, right?
This story is freely inspired by the brothers Michele and Gianni Bugli who in 1982 left with the sick father in caravans and made him believe he had arrived in Paris. They traveled almost never leaving their farm. The film is dedicated to them. And all the dreamers.
