Kelley, prolific author of TV series, finished Defense Attorney on Netflix (the shooting of the fifth and last are in progress) will focus on Michael Connelly’s Nightshade novel of 2024 to turn into a TV series for HBO Max using the prestigurals production model at The Pitt: low costs, high number of bets, annual appointment. The series would be called Welcome to Catalina, with the Los Angeles County Detective Stilwell, who is sent to the island of Catalina but finds himself with a corpse to manage.
Moriarty
Fremantle and Archery Pictures are working on a TV series dedicated to Moriarty’s historic enemy of Sherlock Holmes. The series will be a complete rereading with Moriarty who is professor of criminal psychology at Durham University and leads a double life being professor of day and criminal at night. When a criminal group challenges him, Moriarty decides to join as a police advisor to stop them working with Detective Imogen Burrows. Soon he will understand that the real threat is not the rival gang.
