La Cuoca del Presidente, il film tonight in tv

On Monday 1 June 2026 on Heaven will air the film “La Cuoca del Presidente” for the cycle “Cinema 8” on the Saturdays of the channel. The film is directed by Christian Vincent with Catherine Frot and Hippolyte Girardot as the protagonists.

The film (Les saveurs du palais in French) went out to the cinema in 2012 cashing just over 11.5 million dollars worldwide, of which 7.7 million cashed in the French market. In Italy the film reached the figure of 445 thousand euros in the box office.

La Cuoca del Presidente, la trama

Hortense Laborie is a renowned cook who lives in the Périgord. With his great surprise, the President of the Republic appoints him responsible for his personal cuisine at the Eliseo, the palace where he lives and governs the French President.

Despite the jealousy of the chefs operating in the main kitchens of the Palace, Hortense manages to impose itself thanks to its strong character and its tempra. The genuineness of his kitchen will soon seduce the President, but what happens behind the scenes, in the rooms of power, will create many obstacles… (Trama Lucky Red)
