The film, directed by Ben Affleck, is inspired by the homonymous novel by Dennis Lehane. Ben Affleck and Elle Fanning are the protagonists. The date with the film is at about 21:15 on IRIS.
The film (Live by Night in English) came out in some world markets in 2016 and cashed around $22.6 million, including $10.3 million in the US market. In Italy the film has cashed 143 thousand euros.

What you saw, collect, but it will never be like what you expected. Accepting paternal advice is not part of the nature of Joe Coughlin. On the contrary, the veteran of the First World War self-defined an anti-conventional outlaw, for being the son of the Deputy Superintendent of the Boston Police. But all in all Joe is not a bad boy, indeed, he is not really bad to live the life he chose to live.
Unlike the gangsters for whom he refuses to work, he has the sense of justice and a great heart that however go against his interests, making him vulnerable, over time, both in business and in love. Driven by the desire to repair the torts suffered, Joe takes on a path full of dangers that goes against his moral code. Leaving behind the cold winter of Boston, he and his band provide heat to the Tampa environment. And if revenge is as sweet as the molasse who is used for the rum he smuggles, Joe will soon learn that everything has a price to pay.
