In the sea of romantic TV series Young Adult every now and then Prime Video remembers that even adults have the subscription to not pay the shipping costs and proposes something a little more mature. Although the times of the first TV series more niche and refined are far away, with Corri or Muori – Ride or Die we are from the parts of a female comedy action with a couple of good actresses formed by Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham.
Both are also executive producer (you can say without offending anyone, but now the important names are all executive producer of the series they participate in) while the series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. For some strange reason it is released with all 8 episodes the same day, on July 15, although the feeling is that it is not a series of binge watching as an occasional pastime. Maybe a two-point release a week would have been better.
Corri o Muori la trama
Run or die tells the story of two best friends, Debbie Claybourne (Octavia Spencer) and Judith Burton (Hannah Waddingham), agreeing to know all of each other – at least until Judith turns out to be an international murderer. When a mysterious figure emerges from Judith’s past and a mission fails miserably, both of them’s life is twisted, forcing the two women to escape together. Thus begins a race against time, a journey on the road through Europe, with law enforcement, professional assassins and dangerous criminals on their tracks.

The cast of Corri or die also includes Ed Skrein in the role of “Billy,” Calam Lynch in that of “Sam,” Savannah Steyn as “Queenie,” Jamie Parker in the part of “David,” Jacky Ido in that of “Jacques,” along with Sylvia Hoeks in the role of “Ana” and Bill Nighy in that of “Director”.
