A trip to Italy for the ladies of cinema and the club of Book Club. In the next chapter the “girls” venture on a trip to Italy after the restrictions and distances of Covid-19. Compared to the success of the first film Book Club 2 – The next chapter has earned less than expected with only $29 million worldwide. Tonight on Wednesday, June 17, the film is in the first sight on Channel 5.

The amazing Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen always directed by Bill Holderman, come back with the second chapter of the beloved female comedy; this time to take a new adventure set in Italy. The script is signed by Bill Holderman and Erin Simms.

Book Club 2 – Il capitolo successivo, la trama

The film follows our four favorite friends on the journey among girls who have never completed, with the intent of bringing their book club to Italy. After the encounters via Zoom of the Covid period the 4 friends find themselves, their lives went on but their friendship remained intact. Carol will remind them of the trip to Italy they wanted to do in the past and will become a bachelorette party with Tuscany as the last stop.

When things go out of control and some secrets are revealed, the relaxing holiday becomes an adventure through the country that once happens in life.
