Serial interweaters are a fascinating matter, so after interpreting a neurosurgeon, in love and married to a woman whose mother suffered from Alzheimer’s and devoting (still today) her life to studying it, Patrick Dempsey will be a hit man suffering from the same disease in Memory of a Killer (of course the intersection is with Grey’s Anatomy).
The TV series debuted in January in the United States on FOX, is a Warner Bros and Fox Entertainment production and next to Patrick Dempsey there are Michael Imperioli and Gina Torres, among others. The TV series is inspired by the Belgian thriller De Zaak Alzheimer (La Memoire Du Tueur). The adaptation script is by Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone, David Schulner (New Amsterdam) will be co-showrunner. Memory of a Killer was renewed by FOX with the second expected season in 2027. In Italy the TV series is expected on Canale 5.
Memory of a Killer, la trama
Angelo Ledda, protagonist of Memory of a Killer, is a hit man who recently discovered that he had Alzheimer’s. The early stages of the disease begin to complicate the double life of the New York assassin who has a pregnant daughter who begins to suffer threats probably from some people of the father’s past, who also discovered that perhaps the death of his wife was not an accident. To help him there is Dutch, restaurateur of the Bronx of Italian origins, old friend of Angelo but above all the man who entrusts him the different work assignments.

In addition to Patrick Dempsey Angelo Ledda and Michael Imperioli as Dutch, we find Richard Harmon who plays the hit man Joe while Odeya Rush is Maria, Angelo’s daughter. Daniel David Stewart is Jeff, Maria’s husband, Peter Gadiot is policeman Dave and Gina Torres is special agent Linda Grant. Michaela McManus will be Nicky, director of a club where the mafia gathers.
