Wednesday 24 June 2026, on Italy 1 will air the film “Big Game – Hunt to the President“. The film is directed by Jalmari Helander with Samuel L. Jackson and Onni Tommila as the protagonists. The film (Big Game in English) came out in the cinemas in 2014, cashing just over $7.4 million worldwide, of which 1,3 million were cashed in the Finnish market. In Italy the film has cashed 482 thousand euros.

The Air Force One directed at Helsinki is subject to a terrorist attack. The President of the United States, who is on that flight, launches with the rescue capsule and lands on the Finnish forests. To help him survive the wild nature and the attackers who want to kidnap him there is Oskari, a Finnish thirteen-year-old sent to the forest to prove to be a man.
