Romantic and cinematic evening on Rai Movie Tuesday, June 30th at 9:15 pm on Rai 5 will air “Let the Belts” film by Ferzan Ozpetek that tells of a great love tested by time. The film was released in Italy in 2014 cashing more than €4.5 million at the box office in the first 4 weeks from the film.

Attach the belts, tells the story of Elena (Kasia Smutniak) and Antonio (Francesco Arca), two very different people. Elena is a woman who leads a quiet life, is engaged to Giorgio and thinks to open a bar in a service station, works with Silvia who is engaged to Antonio. Elena does not bear Antonio, a rough mechanic, and too vulgar and racist for her, endures it only because she loves Silvia.
Antonio one day will arrive at the bar for a beer and confess to Elena that is dyslexic, this revelation for Elena is important, now he sees it behind new eyes. The disdain begins to fade away and the attraction continues.
In a 13-year-old time jump we discover that the two are still together and that Elena and her friend Fabio have realized the dream of opening their own bar. Elena and Antonio are married and have two children, but their history, apparently quiet, is actually very problematic. Their relationship is then tested when Elena discovers a chilling fact about Antonio.
