Influencer 2 arrives on Rai 4, bringing on the small screen the following of one of the most appreciated independent thrillers of recent years. Distributed internationally with the original Influencers title, the 2025 film marks the return of the Canadian filmmaker Kurtis David Harder and the protagonist Cassandra Naud, already an interpreter of the enigmatic CW in the first chapter of the franchise. After the success of Influencer – The island of illusions of 2022, the new film expands the narrative universe of the saga, moving the action between southern France and other international locations, maintaining the center of the relationship between identity, manipulation and building of the image online.
Presented a preview in the circuit of international festivals dedicated to genre cinema before the distribution on Shudder, Influencers confirms the approach of the first film, using the world of social media as a background for a psychological thriller that plays continuously with appearances and perception of reality.
La trama di Influencer 2
The story resumes the events of CW, the mysterious protagonist of the first film, which seems to have left behind its past. She moved to the south of France with her partner Diane, the woman tries to build a new life. However, the balance of the couple is questioned by the arrival of Charlotte, a famous British influencer who ends up attracting the attention of CW and rekindling dynamics that seemed to have been overcome.
In parallel, Madison, one of the surviving events in the first chapter, continues to try to demonstrate CW’s responsibility in the crimes of the past. The story thus turns into a game of chases, revenges and exchanges of identity that leads the characters to confront again with the hidden dangers behind the construction of public image and online notoriety.

To play again CW is Cassandra Naud, a Canadian actress who had already contributed to the success of the first Influencer. Emily Tennant returns to the role of Madison and new characters played by Georgina Campbell, who dresses the roles of influential Charlotte, and Lisa Delamar as Diane. The cast includes Jonathan Whitesell, Veronica Long and Dylan Playfair.
Director and screenplay are signed by Kurtis David Harder, who returns to explore the themes of manipulation, the construction of digital identity and the relationship between reality and online representation.
