Crossfire – Blocked in the nightmare is the miniseries on Italy 1 Thursday 9 July. Written and created by Louise Doughty already author of several novels such as Fino in Fondo – Apple Tree Yard, has as protagonist Keeley Hawes already protagonist of thriller drama such as The Village of the Dannati and Bodyguard. The action miniseries is an English production, broadcast in 3 episodes on BBC One in September 2022 and aired in 2 evenings always on Italy 1 in December 2022, this time it is reproduced in a single evening.

The plot of Crossfire – Blocked in the nightmare takes us to a resort in the Canary Islands where Jo is enjoying the holidays together with his family, husband Jason, their children Adam and Kimberly, in Amara who Jo had from a previous marriage. On holiday with them there are also Ben, Jason’s brother, and his wife Miriam, family friends Abhi and Chinar Doshi and their three children.
While lying in the sun, Jo’s dream holiday is shocked by the arrival of some armed criminals who enter the hotel by taking all guests as hostages. Guided by Jo who is in security and is a former police officer, and the hotel security officer, the various guests will have to make decisions that will have dramatic consequences for their lives. Even Jo’s will not be the same.
