It is now available on the YouTube channel of Netflix Italy RIV4LI – A last adventure, a special episode that brings us back for the last time in the world of the beloved series for boys and girls created by Simona Ercolani. A special episode that will not be on Netflix but only on YouTube and is born from a letter that a 13-year-old French sent to Netflix to tell about his connection with the Italian TV series.
RIV4LI – Un’ultima avventura
During the last summer before high school, Terry (Kartika Malavasi), Claudio (Samuele Carrino), Paolo (Duccio Orlando) and Alessio (Joseph Figueroa) leave for Toulouse, where Alessio will participate in his first comic festival. The uncertainty of Alessio and the loss of the comic trigger tensions and misunderstandings that divide the group. It will be the discovery of a letter written by a French girl, Hailé, who expresses the desire to find friends, and the search for this girl who will gather the group.
La storia vera
This last special episode was born from a true story, that is from the letter that Hailé, thirteen-year-old of Toulouse, sent to Netflix, in which he told his connection with the series and its protagonists. Hence the decision to respond and dedicate an extra episode, inspired by his own words, shot with some of the actors of the series and produced by Stand By Me. Hailé, protagonist of a surprise by the cast, who flew to his house, also took part in the episode with a cameo.
The whole shooting adventure of the special episode will be documented in an outgoing vlog on Sunday, July 12, always on the YouTube channel of Netflix Italy.
Cos’è Riv4li
RIV4LI is the TV series for boys and girls created by Simona Ercolani and set in the same narrative world as DI4RI. The series explores the conflicts and discoveries of preadolescence: the first loves, the construction of their identity, the strength of friendship, the dynamics of bullying and the prejudices that decree who is inside or outside the “group”.
RIV4LI are the protagonists of the series, initially divided into two opposing groups. We are in Pisa, in the Third D of the Montalcini middle school: the Insiders, led by the most popular boy of the Claudio school (Samuele Carrino) and his best friend Dario (Edoardo Miulli), meet with the Outsiders, captained by the newcomer Terry (Kartika Malavasi). When the school is divided by a real wall, Insiders and Outsiders will have to break down the physical and relational barriers that separate them. In the cast also Lorenzo Ciamei (Luca), Eugenia Cableri (Sabrina), Melissa Di Pasca (Marzia), Joseph Figueroa (Alessio), Duccio Orlando (Paolo), Andrea Arru (Pietro).
