Mediaset returns to Giffoni to take part in the 56th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival with three special events confirming the Group’s commitment to promoting culture, enhancing young talents and spreading content capable of combining entertainment, education and attention to social issues. Short films, restored films and an intensive workshop to talk about audiovisual with the boys.
The first appointment, scheduled on Saturday, July 18 at 12.15 at the Truffaut Hall, sees the absolute preview of “in Crescendo”, the new short film made by Mediafriends, the Ente Filantropico promoted by Mediaset, Mondadori and Medusa and presided by Pier Silvio Berlusconi. Written and directed by Fabrizio Montagner, “in CRESCENDO” tells the path of the Orchestra Giovani Quattro Ottavi, composed of girls and boys from 11 to 25 years, in the weeks preceding the final performance in front of the guests of the RSA “Girola” in Milan of the Don Carlo Gnocchi Foundation.
The second event celebrates the return of one of the masterpieces of Italian animation, “La Gabbianella e il cat” by Enzo d’Alò. Almost thirty years after the release in the theatres, on Sunday, July 19 at 19.00 at the Sala Lumière, Mediaset Infinity presents the restored version of the film, with the participation of the same director. The film will be available on the Mediaset Infinity platform from the next day.
On Monday, July 20, at 12.10 at the Green Hall, space for the presentation of “Effetto Domino” through an interactive workshop that, thanks to the presence of a psychologist, will try to stimulate the public to share in real time their lives and moods. Produced by Infinity LAB, directed by Marco Cortesi and Mara Moschini, docu-reality explores in 5 episodes some of the most complex and universal emotions and has been supported by “Mediaset for the Future”, the Group’s project aimed at raising awareness on topics of social and environmental interest.
Infinity LAB is the permanent workshop of Mediaset Infinity dedicated to enhancing the talent of independent filmmakers and production houses.
