The war for the Middle Land enters its decisive phase in the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Prime Video’s fantasy TV series inspired by J.R.R.R. Tolkien. At the San Diego Comic-Con 2026 a new teaser trailer was shown anticipating the arrival of characters very expected by fans, which will be added to the return of already known faces and to a Sauron now increasingly close to complete his plan to bake the Ring. The new episodes will debut from 11 November 2026 on Prime Video.
La trama
It’s been five years since the fall of Eregion. The armies of Sauron have conquered much of the Middle Land and only a few strongholds continue to oppose the advance of the Dark Lord. Among these are Khazad-dûm, where the Nani are being besieged in their underground rooms, and the elfic kingdoms of Lindon and Gran Burrone, protected by the power of the Three Rings.
In the meantime, in the Barad-dûr tower, now completed, Sauron continues his most ambitious project: to forge the One Ring, destined to bend to his will all the other Power Rings. To prevent him from reaching absolute dominion, Elfi, Nani, Men and Wizards will be forced to set aside their differences and join forces in a battle destined to change the fate of the Middle Land.

In the course of the season, new creatures of the Middle Land will also appear, including the giant Mûmakil, as well as numerous Orcs and other beasts serving Sauron.
