A History of Violence, la trama
Leading a happy and quiet life with the lawyer wife and their two children in the small town of Millbrook, Indiana, the mite Tom Stall loves his simple and quiet life. However, their idyllic lifestyle is shocked when, one night, Tom saves his clients and friends, making an attempt at robbery in his diner by two violent wanted criminals. Now, announced as a local hero, Tom’s life changes from today to tomorrow, attracting unwanted attention and a frenzy that feeds national media.
Uneasy with his found celebrity, Tom tries to get back to normal, but soon he will meet a mysterious man, who thinks Tom is a person who in the past has done him a wrong and now wants revenge. Tom and his family will find themselves fighting to protect his loved ones. But is there more in Tom than it looks?
