Five friends, twenty years old and a lot of problems that none of them really seems ready to face. It is from this precarious balance that you share Adults, the comedy FX created by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, who returns with a second season once again set in the New York of young adults. The eight new episodes will be available all together on Disney+ in Italy from September 30, 2026; in the USA the series debuted on August 27 on FX/FXX streaming on Hulu and Disney+ with weekly release of bets.
Samir, Billie, Paul Baker, Issa and Anton continue to rely on each other while trying, not always successfully, to understand how to deal with work, love, family and friendship. The new trailer suggests a season built once again on everyday situations and typical contradictions of entry into adulthood.

The second season puts the five protagonists in front of a series of apparently simple questions, which end up becoming more complicated problems. What happens when the person who inherited your fake identity card is younger and, above all, cooler than you? How can you admit to friends that they are surprisingly satisfied with their office work? And why do you think coming home from your family is enough to re-emerge the worst version of yourself?
Samir, Billie, Paul Baker, Issa and Anton continue to develop increasingly elaborate strategies to avoid directly facing the situations that put them in difficulty. Their problem is not so much not to learn from mistakes, how to find new ways to make others every time. On one thing, however, they can count: when needed, they always manage to be there for each other.

The heart of the series remains the relationship between the five friends, played by Malik Elassal (Samir), Lucy Freyer (Billie), Jack Innanen (Paul Baker), Amita Rao (Issa) and Owen Thiele (Anton). They transform the small crises of everyday life into often surreal situations, keeping the theme of friendship and difficulties related to growth at the centre of comedy.
Designed by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, Adults uses the dynamics of the group to tell a generation to the grips with a moment of passage where independence still lives with the need to have someone to count on. The series is produced by FX Productions. Among the executive producers are Nick Kroll, Sarah Naftalis, Jonathan Krisel, Alicia Van Couvering and Rob Rosell.
