The rivalry of the high New York society is back with the fourth season of The Gilded Age, the HBO Original drama period created by Julian Fellowes, already author of Downton Abbey. Among great loves, fortunes in transformation and struggles for prestige, the new episodes tell a society where the balances of power continue to change and a new generation is ready to question the rules of the elite. The fourth season debuted on November 2, 2026 on Sky and streamed on NOW, with an episode per week until December 14, and is also available on HBO Max.
La trama di The Gilded Age 4
After transforming the balances of high society, Bertha Russell must face the consequences of his own personal choices. His ascent has altered the strengths of the most influential families in New York, but the success achieved also entails new risks for her and her loved ones.
Meanwhile, Agnes van Rhijn sees the possibility of regaining the position he lost, while Marian embarks on a new personal path. Peggy, on the other hand, tries to obtain the acceptance of the future acquired family. In a world crossed by social changes and stronger ambitions, each character will have to deal with their expectations and with the price to pay to achieve their goals.
The fourth season continues the story of the economic and cultural transformations that cross New York, focusing on the conflicts between tradition and modernity, family rivalries and the search for a position in a society where wealth and influence do not guarantee stability.
