Red Zone – 22 Thousands of Fire, plot and trailer of the film tonight on TV

Friday, April 17 on Rai 4, will air the film “Red Zone – 22 Miglia di Fuoco“. The film is directed by Peter Berg with Mark Wahlberg as the protagonist. The film (Mile 22 in English) was released in the world’s cinemas in 2018, where it cashed $66.3 million worldwide, of which $36.1 million was cashed only in the US market. In Italy, distributed by Lucky Red, the film cashed 927 thousand euros.

Red Zone – 22 Miglia di Fuoco, la trama

The protagonist of the film is James Silva, a CIA agent part of the Overwatch special program. Together with colleagues Alice Kerr, William Douglas and Sam Snow, James infiltrates a secure home of the Russian intelligence agency. The goal is to thwart a terrorist threat that will lead them to recover a large amount of cesium kept in that place.

Completed the mission, the entire team will have to move to Indonesia, where policeman Li Noor has recently handed over to the American embassy in exchange for protection. The Americans will accept, provided that Li provides information on the hiding place used by cesium smugglers. The team’s task is to take Li out of the border, making him exceed 22 miles very risky for his life.
