Tonight on TV on Sky Cinema, Monday 20 April 2026, comes the film Lee Miller, portrait of a woman who challenged every convention to tell the truth of the war. In the South of France, on the eve of World War II, Lee Miller (Kate Winslet) spends his days among artists and intellectuals, determined to assert himself as a photographer after leaving his career as a model. With the outbreak of the conflict he moved to London with Roland Penrose (Alexander Skarsgård) and began working for British Vogue, colliding with the limits imposed on women.
Decided to tell the war on the front line, challenges the restrictions of the time and, after many wastes, manages to obtain accreditation as correspondent, starting alone for the European front. Here he meets photographer David E. Scherman (Andy Samberg), with whom he forms a professional association destined to mark the story of photojournalism.
From the liberation of Paris to the entrance to the concentration camps, through images destined to become iconic, his work strongly returns the horrors of the conflict, leaving an indelible mark in history and in his own life.
