On Apple TV is back Criminal Record, an intense English-style police thriller with a pair of axes as protagonists: Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo, on the one hand an infronted inspector but who always hides something, on the other a tough cop and who does not want to get his feet in the head.
The second season of Criminal Record debuted on April 22 and will continue until June 10 with weekly release. Created by the BAFTA Award candidate Paul Rutman, it takes us to the heart of contemporary London that explores the impossibility of fulfilling the role of cop when the truth is in the balance.

In the second season, when a young man is stabbed to death during a political rally, rival cops June Lenker and Daniel Hegarty are forced to hold a difficult alliance. But what begins as a killer hunt turns into an undercover operation to thwart an extreme right-wing terrorist plot in the heart of London.

Peter Capaldi, winner of an Oscar® and a BAFTA, and Cush Jumbo, candidate for the Laurence Olivier Award and Critics Choice Award. The second season sees Capaldi’s return as Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty and Jumbo in Sergeant June Lenker. Dustin Demri-Burns, Luca Pasqualino, Luther Ford, Lyndsey Marhsall and Peter Sullivan join the cast, which also sees the return of Shaun Dooley, Stephen Campbell Moore and Charlie Creed-Miles.
Criminal Record is produced for Apple TV by Tod Productions and STV Studios, with the executive production of the BAFTA Scotland Award winner Elaine Collins, Chris Susman Rutman, Capaldi and Jumbo. The series is directed by Ben A. Williams and Joelle Mae David.
