Hotel Costiera is an international action drama series, directed by Emmy Adam Bernstein and Giacomo Martelli, an idea by Luca Bernabei, written by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill and Francesco Arlanch and co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide, a company of the Fremantle group. After the debut in September 2025 on Prime Video, Hotel Costiera (which at first was called only Costiera) with Jesse Williams and Maria Chiara Giannetta, arrives on Canale 5 from 1 September 2026 divided on 3 evenings (second appointment on the 3 and final the next week). Hotel Costiera, la trama
The protagonist of Costiera is Daniel De Luca, a former Italian-American marine who deals with problems in one of the most exclusive hotels in the world, in Positano. Shortly after the start of work at Daniel’s hotel, or DD as they all call it, one of the daughters of the owner disappears. You have to do everything you need to find it and bring it home while helping the hotel guests with their extravagant problems.
Adam Bernstein, the director, said: “It’s an extraordinary opportunity for me to work with Jesse Williams on the Coast. I have always admired his work, both on the stage and on the screen, and is the first actor I thought about for the role of Daniel De Luca. Jesse guarantees a perfect combination of intelligence, charisma and humor, and we are incredibly lucky to have him as the protagonist of our show.”.

Martedì 1° settembre
1×01 Sheryl – At Villa Costiera, an excellent hotel on the Amalfi Coast, Daniel De Luca leads a team that solves problems outside the ordinary. The day changes course when Aaron Tarsky, a billionaire on holiday, vanishes at sea during a fishing trip with the young wife Sheryl. The family entrusts DD with the task of rebuilding the facts. The investigation, between discordant versions and details that do not match, discards appearance and leads to a less obvious truth. Right there is a precious connection with another urgency: Alice, the owner’s daughter, has been missing for weeks. A photograph in a bar, dated two weeks earlier, rekindles the track and directs the search.
1×02 Richard – A sudden death at the Villa Costiera triggers a delicate operation: an elderly Jewish woman loses her life and her son Richard reaches Italy from New York to bring her body home, according to traditions. DD and his team take care of the transfer in tight times, while they help man to confront truth’ uncomfortable on his mother, which encrypt the image. In parallel, the investigation on Alice takes a decisive step: at the Bar of Photography, DD identifies a key detail that allows him to give a name to the boy portrayed with her, Bruno.
Giovedì 3
1×03 April – From the past of Daniel reappears April Mackenzie, former Marines partner, looking for help. During a night in Positano lost a bracelet containing confidential data, and the situation is likely to put it seriously in trouble. DD and his team start research to recover it as soon as possible, moving discreetly and quickly. For Daniel it is not just a matter of work: this time he must be a friend. At the same time, he manages to track Bruno directly with a question that can no longer wait for an answer: where is Alice?
1×04 Hassan – Hassan’s sudden arrival at Villa Costiera opens a new front: the child, visibly terrified, looks for DD. It is clear that he witnessed something dangerous, and someone is willing to do anything to prevent him from speaking. Daniel and his team keep him safe while trying to rebuild the facts, moving between fragmentary clues and tracks that stop. If answers emerge on the one hand, on the other, there is a difficult vacuum to fill. When Daniel finally manages to locate the place where Alice is, the discovery turns out bitter: someone else came before him.
