The law of Lidia Poët is set in Turin at the end of 1800. 1×01 The show must continue: When a dancer is found dead, all clues seem to point to the man accused of persecuting her. Convinced of his innocence, the mother of the suspect relies on the first Italian apocacy to bring out the truth.
1×02 Love and Anarchy: With disappointment from Henry, Lidia assumes the defense of an anarchist accused of murder. While investigating the case, hidden secrets and interests emerge that drag it into a more complex story than expected, risking its credibility.

The series is directed by Matteo Rovere and Letizia Lamartire and written by Guido Iuculano, Davide Orsini, Elisa Dondi, Daniela Gambaro and Paolo Piccirillo. In the cast besides Matilda De Angelis in the role of Lidia Poët, we find Eduardo Scarpetta in those of Jacopo Barberis the journalist who helps Lidia. Pier Luigi Pasino is Enrico Poët, while Sara Lazzaro and Sinéad Thornhill are Teresa Barberis, wife of Enrico, and Marianna Poët, their daughter. Dario Aita is Andrea Caracciolo.
