Wednesday 9 September on Apple TV debuts Last Seen, a new Australian thriller in 6 episodes with a detective in the center and the obsessive search of the missing daughter, a recurring theme in seriality and literature that allows you to play with dramatic tones and with twists. Also in this case the starting point is a novel The Dispatcher by Ryan David Jahn, winner of the CWA John Creasey Dagger Award. The script is by Kris Mrksa while directed by Christian Schwochow.
Last Seen, la trama
Detective Ian Ridley’s life (Patrick Brammall) went to pieces eleven years earlier when his daughter Maggie disappeared without a trace. Now he works as a police station operator and the only thing that makes him move forward is his relentless refusal to accept that she may be gone forever. When she receives a rescue request from a girl who is convinced to be Maggie, she begins desperately looking for her with the aim of bringing her family at any cost.
