Announced by time, War finally arrives the TV series created by George Kay (Hijack, Lupin, The Long Shadow) and directed by Ben Taylor (Sex Education, Catastrophe), co-produced by New Pictures (society of the All3Media group) and Pictures Observatory, in collaboration with Sky and HBO. Ordered already in two seasons (with the second being in production with a defined cast) War is a legal anthology drama with the aim to tell in every season of the important legal battles.
The first season of War has as a subtitle The divorce of the century and debuts with its 8 bets on October 1 on HBO and the 2 on Sky UK, in Italy instead the series will arrive from November 27 when it will be entirely finished abroad (the final is scheduled on November 19). The first season’s protagonists are Dominic West as the technological magnate Morgan Henderson and Sienna Miller in those of his former wife, the film diva Carla Duval.

The series follows two of the most influential and prestigious law firms in London – Cathcarts and Taylor & Byrne – rivals in what is called the divorce of the century. To remain involved between actress Carla Duval and technological magnate Morgan Henderson is the young and ambitious lawyer Jonathan “Johnny” Warren, interpreted by Archie Renaux dragged into a ruthless world where ambition is the currency of exchange and betrayal is strategy.

In addition to the aforementioned West, Miller and Renaux, Phoebe Fox (The Great, Task) in the role of Serena Byrne and James McArdle (Playing Nice, Murder in Easttown) as Nicholas Taylor, partner in the life and work of Taylor & Byrne; Nina Sosanya (Screw, Baby Reindeer) plays Beatrice “Queen Bea” Ubosi and Pip Torrens (Succession, The Crown) is St John Smallwood, their counterparts and rivals of the Cathcarts studio. The cast includes Celia Imrie, Nick Mohammed, Emma Laird, Aran Murphy, Archie Panjabi, Adrian Scarborough, Shaheen Jafargholi, Akiya Henry, Honor Swinton Byrne, Miles Jupp, Kartanya Maynard, Alexandra Mardell, Dylan Murphy, Mark Quartley and Steve Furst.
La seconda stagione
This is only the first chapter of an anthology of first page legal battles, being the series already on the second season set that will see in the cast Marisa Tomei, Kelly Macdonald and David Harewood, protagonists of the next legal battle while their lawyers will be involved in an explosive case of defamation.
