The maritime disaster, really, would have inspired Herman Melville to write Moby Dick. But the author described only part of the story. The film Heart of the Sea The Origins of Moby Dick reveals the consequences of that shocking aggression: how the survivors of the ship’s crew push beyond their limits, forced to perform the unthinkable in order to survive.
