The 13th is the protagonist of the new season of American Horror Story. The anthological series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk returns with the thirteenth season with 13 episodes released from 24 September to 29 October in the USA on FX on HULU (and in many countries) and from 1 October to 5 November in Italy on Disney+. A special chapter that brings together many interpreters already known in previous seasons, bringing back some of the most popular characters in the series.
Since its debut in 2011, the franchise has won over 100 Emmy nominations and has exceeded 700 million hours of global streaming. American Horror Story is also the one-hour longest-lived series in FX history.

The peculiarity of this thirteenth season is that Ryan MUrphy not only recalled the actors of the past seasons, but above all chose to make remake their characters already interpreted in the past. Sarah Paulson returns as Cordelia Goode, Coven’s Supreme and Apocalypse, while Emma Roberts takes over the role of Madison Montgomery, the sarcastic and ambitious witch who had conquered the audience in the third season. Angela Bassett instead returns to be Marie Laveau, the powerful queen of New Orleans voodoo, and Kathy Bates dresses up again as Madame Delphine LaLaurie, one of Coven’s cruelest characters.
Jessica Lange takes four of her historical characters: Constance Langdon of Murder House, Sister Jude Martin of Asylum, Fiona Goode of Coven and Elsa Mars of Freak Show. Evan Peters returns with more roles. Among the confirmed ones is Kai Anderson, the leader of the cult of Cult, but in the trailer it seems to resume that of the first season. Gabourey Sidibe instead resumes Queenie, the witch of Coven and Hotel, while Frances Conroy returns as Myrtle Snow. Other returns include Leslie Grossman as Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt, John Carroll Lynch as Twisty the Clown and Matt Fraser as Paul.
The cast also includes Avantika, Jamie Brewer, Elle Chapman, Berto Colon, Alex Consani, Mat Fraser, Seth Gabel, Orlando Jones, Paul Anthony Kelly, Tig Notaro, Madelaine Petsch, Fedor Steer, Mena Suvari, Zach Villa and John Waters, as well as other performers.
