North South East the second chapter of the legendary history of the 883 of Sydney Sibilia is the flagship event of the autumn of Sky and decided to squeeze it as much as possible to promote it. I hope that then what we will see is at the height of the enthusiasm generated by the first season (the trailers do well hope in any case). On October 3rd and 4th those in Milan will be able to immerse themselves in the world of 883 with an event in the square to discover the series and its protagonists. At the end of October then everyone in Luca to celebrate (hopefully) success (the series comes out from 9 October).

Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th, the public will be able to cross – free and free of charge – a space of time and find itself between Los Angeles and Pavia in the 1990s, inside the places, the music and the imagination that accompanied more than one generation. It will be enough to pass the doors of the location (La Pelota Jai Alai, via Palermo 10, in full Brera) to embark on a journey in the places of the videoclip of North South East, and then return to Italy, in Pavia, where everything began. A path designed to involve fans, curious and an entire generation raised with songs from 883, through interactive installations, sets inspired by the series and videoclips from North South West East, the live music of some of the most famous 883 tribute bands, games and photo opportunity.
Saturday evening the location will turn into a real celebration years ’90, event for which, instead, it will be necessary to register on Eventbrite, at the link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2002115201463?: from 21.00, after the opening of the doors, live set of the Pezza Band, tribute band of the 883, which will retrace live the songs that have made the history of the band. So the Deejay Set: entertainment continues in collaboration with Radio Deejay, with the presence in consoles of DJ Shorty with soundtrack of the event, until midnight. The most anticipated moment will arrive around 22.30, when the public will finally meet the real Max Pezzali: an extraordinary participation that will turn into an authentic crowd bath, before an exclusive intervention dedicated to the cultural and musical heritage of 883.
In addition, Saturday at 12.30 about the experience will be enriched by a special appointment with Elia Nuzzolo and Matteo Oscar Giuggioli, protagonists of the series in the roles of Max and Mauro. The two actors will be protagonists of a meeting fan during which the audience will be able to listen to curiosity and background of production and immerse themselves even closer in the narrative universe of the series, retracing the story of a friendship, dreams and successes that accompanied the rise of Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto.
Throughout the weekend, from 11.00 to 19.00, both Saturday and Sunday the journey organized by Sky and NOW – realized by the ParideVitale Agency – will begin at check-in, where each visitor will be invited to take their own “flight 883” with destination Los Angeles, the city where Max and Mauro filmed in 1993 the videoclip of North South West East. Once you arrive in Los Angeles, you can take a photo next to the famous red Cadillac of the videoclip, while in the Desert Area the Dance Cabin will allow you to record mini-videos inspired by the dance moves of Mauro Repetto, to be shared directly on social media.
The heart of the American experience will be the Plaza Messicana, inspired by the videoclip of North South East: a great space with stage and continuous animation that will host mariachi, dancers, the tribute band of 883 and DJ set signed Radio Deejay. From America we return to Italy, to Pavia, the city from which the history of 883 began. Here two of the most recognizable environments of the series will be rebuilt: the tavern used by Max and Mauro as a recording room, in which you can record your performance in lip sync on the songs of 883, and the room of Max, which will host a gaming experience inspired by the 1990s. There will also be the possibility to take a photo “inside” of the cover of the North South East album.
The experience will be realized with the contribution of a wide network of partners who will accompany the public on an immersive journey between music, entertainment and pop culture of the 1990s.
A Lucca
On October 30, the creator and director of the Sydney Sibilia series will be in Lucca with the two protagonists, Elia Nuzzolo and Matteo Oscar Giuggioli, to meet the audience on the occasion of the screening preview of the fifth episode of the new season. The 883 universe will also have its own home in the city center, with a dedicated Sky space in St. Francis Square.

Also waiting for the on demand series, on NOW and streaming on YouTube there is the special Rotta for North South West Es where the director and the two actors retrace the birth of the series on 883 produced by Sky Studios and Greenland through unpublished images, backstage, anecdotes and memories, from the first self-tape to the last singing try, from singing lessons to long days on set.
