The Suicide Squad – Missione suicida, la trama
Amanda Waller, a government agent, decides to join two Task Force X teams, commonly called Suicide Squad, to complete a mission in exchange for a shortening of the sentence. The members of this team, in fact, are criminals of the penitentiary of Belle Reve. Their mission? Destroy the Jötunheim laboratory built during the Nazi era, in which the secret experiment called the Starfish Project is kept.
To do so, they are shipped to South America, in the island nation of Corto Maltese, where the government was overthrown by anti-American forces. There, one of the teams is annihilated by the military immediately after landing. Only Colonel Rick Flag and Harley Quinn survive.
In the end, after the mission was considered accomplished and Waller orders him to leave the island and return to the penitentiary, the gang of adorable criminals decides to contravene orders and to overthrow the anti-American government of Corto Maltese. But it’s not over here.
