Film Club, from 17 April on RaiPlay the English miniseries with Aimee Lou Wood

A new English TV series is coming on RaiPlay exclusively (obviously free) from Film Club co-created and co-written by the protagonists Aimee Lou Wood (winner of BAFTA for Sex Education and Emmy candidate for The White Lotus) and Ralph Davis (House of the Dragon, Big Boys, Othello). In six 30-minute episodes, Film Club tells the insecurities and fears of those who are only twenty years old and do not know what to do with his life and even less how to find love. The series is produced by Gaumont and was broadcast by BBC Three in the UK.

Film Club dal punto di vista dei creatori

“ Ralph and I attended the acting school together and since the day we met, we wanted to write something: we had a very similar sense of humor and we understood the jokes of each other,” said Aimee Lou Wood “During the time
Lockdown we needed a creative outlet and we started thinking about how movies and television helped people face that time. As actors and authors, both have always meant so much for us and some films and series have helped me to overcome really difficult moments.”.
