Outlander – The Last Viking, tonight on TV

Outlander – The last Viking is the film on the air tonight Wednesday 21 April on Heaven. The film is directed by Howard McCain with Jim Caviezel and Sophia Myles as the protagonists. The appointment with the film is at about 21:40 on the NOVE channel of digital terrestrial. The film was released at the cinema in 2009 in selected markets, cashing just over $7 million. In Italy the film has cashed 1,2 million euros.

Outlander – L’ultimo Vichingo, la trama

The plot of Outlander The last Viking placed us in the village of Herot, Norway, 709 AD, Rothgar (John Hurt), was recently crowned King. On the horizon a spacecraft crashes on one of the majestic Norwegian fjords. From the wreck comes a man from another world: he is Kainan (Jim Caviezel), a humanoid warrior, and he is not alone.

To his unbeknownst he brought with him a dangerous clandestine, the Moorwen, a wild creature ready to all to avenge for what the Kainan army did to him. Abandoned on a planet alien to him, in a land late for centuries compared to his civilization, the warrior agrees with Rothgar’s Vikings to unite all the peoples of the North, so as to kill in the shortest possible time the fearsome creature.
