The appointment with the Comicon of Naples, from 30 April to 3 May, the Mostra d’Oltremare will populate guests, meetings, stands and projections. The XXVI edition of the Comicon – International Pop Culture Festival will have over 480 Italian and international guests, more than 650 events and 520 exhibitors for four days of Comics, Asian, Cinema and TV series, Videogame, Game, Music, Young, LARP, Urban, Pizza Pop.
This year’s event will also have a special initiative Pop Wave – COMICON for Palestine, a “programme in the program” with Arab guests and Palestine, exhibitions, meetings and debates, projections, workshops, initiatives. A real wave of activities that through the comic book, game and cinema will light the COMICON spotlight on the Palestinian cause.

Guests will be Leo Ortolani, creator of Rat-Man and Italian cartoonist among the most eclectic, award-winning master of humor. To sign the poster of the 2026 edition one of the most creative and required talents of animation cinema: the French illustrator and artistic director Aurélien Predal.
For the first time in Italy comes Kazuhiko Torishima, a legendary Dragon Ball editor, and the mangaka Makoto Yukimura, with the conclusive volume of his manga started 20 years ago, the bestseller Vinland Saga.
From the four corners of the planet, artists such as the legendary Disney cartoon master Don Rosa, Japanese cartoonists Shintaro Kago and Satoshi Shiki, mangaka Kotteri, authors Marvel Alex Maleev and David Mack, British cartoonist Liam Sharp and the Serbian cartoon master, R.M. Guéra.

Twenty-five exhibitions of COMICON Napoli, always a flagship of the festival. At the Mediterranean Theatre of the Mostra d’Oltremare there will be three nights not to be missed. It starts with Tintoria, the podcast by Daniele Tinti and Stefano Rapone produced by The Comedy Club, who arrives at COMICON Napoli for the live recording of a bet with an exceptional guest: the cartoonist Sio (30 April, 20:30 – info and prevendite here).
We continue, thanks to the collaboration with Anime Factory, with Millennium Actress, the masterpiece of Satoshi Kon, which returns to the festival with a special event projection. To present the film and to dialogue with the public there will be the Critics – Francesco Alò, Mr. Marra and Victorlaszlo88 – along with Dario Moccia (Friday 1 May, at 19:30). Finally, appointment with the official award ceremony of the Palmarés of COMICON, assigned to the excellence of the Italian and international cartoon from Jury 2026 composed by Big Mama, Alex Polidori, Caterina Guzzanti, Raffaele Alberto Ventura and the President of Jury Gabriella Giandelli. To present the evening, the comedian and television author Vincenzo Comunale. This year the COMICON Special Career Prize goes to the master Grzegorz Rosiński, one of the great protagonists of the European comic, co-creator of the Thorgal series with Jean Van Hamme and realistic designer of great pictorial elegance.
