Coming to Paramount+ M.I.A. a new crime drama set in Miami and available in 9 binge bets from May 7. The TV series is created by Bill Dubuque, candidate for Emmys and co-creator of Ozark and arrives in Italy at the same time with the USA where it is distributed by Peacock.

M.I.A. is probably the acronym that refers to the military world of Missing in Action and indicates missing persons. The protagonist is Etta Tiger Jonze a young restless in the quiet of the Florida Keys Islands and eager for a new life in the glittering Miami, subtropical realm made of luxury and ambition. But when the drug activity of his family is shocked by a tragedy, Etta embarks on a dangerous journey into the backgrounds to the Miami neon, a path that will define who is really and up to where it is ready to go.

The protagonist, Etta is played by Shannon Gisela, in the cast we also find Cary Elwes (Stranger Things), Danay Garcia (Fear the Walking Dead), Brittany Adebumola (Grand Army), Dylan Jackson (Godfather of Harlem), Alberto Guerra (Griselda), Maurice Compte (Narcos), Gerardo Celasco (The Waterfront) and Marta Milans (White Lines).

Written, created and produced by Bill Dubuque, M.I.A. has Karen Campbell as a showrunner and screenwriter, the director of the first two episodes is of Alethea Jones. The series is produced by MRC and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

M.I.A. has the peculiarity of being one of the few TV series to be set in Miami and to be turned in the city of Florida.
