The Top10 Netflix of the week from 20 to 26 April 2026 shows amazing data and confirms an ongoing trend: Netflix subscribers disaffection quickly. The second seasons of Beef and Running Point have achieved a sharp decline in the first chapter. Beef climbed after the low number of views of the first days obtaining 4.1 million views in his full week, a pity that the first had obtained a figure of 12 million views (reproposing those that were the numbers compared to the previous method used by Netflix).
You can not even attribute the decline to the change of protagonists, because Running Point 2 debuted with 5.3 million views -43% compared to the first season and there is to consider that Netflix believes acceptable a drop of 20%, losing 40-60% could jeopardize the renewal of the series. Renewal that instead obtained the animated Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 after 2.8 million views (but it is easy to imagine that the data is not involved).
In the week the most watched title was the English psychological thriller Unchosen with 10.4 million views. But is the Netflix audience more attracted to the news than the titles you know? Except for rare cases of TV series that became a phenomenon, it seems that subscribers do not want to join, moving more on the wave of time and trends than on personal interest (of course not all). The binge watching mode at the bottom makes everything so fleeting and deperable within a few hours, these cases of calis (who also hit Nobody Wants this, The Night Agent, The Recruit, The Witcher but also Bridgerton) so they should not be surprised. And with regard to fleetingness, as always the films “signature” recall the public: Apex got 38.2 million views.
