On the big screen the story of The Richiamo della Foresta and Buck, a dog with a golden heart, whose quiet domestic life is upset when he is suddenly taken away from his home in California and transplanted into the wild nature of the Canadian Yukon during the 1890s Gold Race. As a new recruit of a sled dog team, Buck lives an extraordinary training trip that will lead him to find his true place in the world and become master of himself.
