The wait is over. On September 3, the second season of The Gentlemen comes to Netflix, the television series created by Guy Ritchie and of which in recent days we are talking too much because it was assumed that there had been an offer for the participation of Meghan Markle in season 3. The offer would have been withdrawn (but who knows if there really was) in the meantime the TV series was officially renewed. First, however, there is to see season 2 with 8 bets available on September 3 all together and who knows if even this second season will suffer a decline like all Netflix titles complicity in the distance between the seasons and a sort of hunger for news of the public. The first season of The Gentlemen, arrived on Netflix in March 2024, had entered the Netflix Top 10 in over 90 countries, reaching first place in 75 of them getting around 100 million total views worldwide.
The new chapter also expands the world of the series beyond the British borders, part of the story is set in Italy, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, with the entry into the cast of several Italian interpreters.

The first season ended with Eddie and Susie becoming partners in the Bobby Glass cannabis empire. What seemed to be a plan to sell the business was actually a test organized by Bobby to see if the two were ready to make the final leap into the criminal world. Eddie and Susie had eliminated one after another the main competitors interested in purchasing the empire. Stanley Johnston, the American billionaire interpreted by Giancarlo Esposito, had been framed for tax evasion; Mercy killed Sticky Pete and was later eliminated by Henry Collins. Henry himself, after contributing to the operation, had been killed by Eddie: a decisive moment for the character, which marked his definitive entry into the darkest side of the business.
Eventually, Bobby had not ceded his empire. Eddie and Susie had instead invested together in the business, becoming part of the system built by the boss. The relationship between the two had been deliberately ambiguous: partners now indispensable, but without a complete trust in each other.

It’s been a year since Eddie and Susie started working together for Bobby’s criminal empire abroad. The two aim to further increase the business, but the situation changes when Bobby begins to make increasingly angry decisions and finds themselves making a choice: intervene to protect what they have built or risk losing everything. A problem that becomes even more complicated with the expansion of activity and the entry of new characters in their world.

Theo James returns as Eddie Horniman, the Duke of Halstead, while Kaya Scodelario still plays Susie Glass. In the cast we also find Ray Winstone as Bobby Glass, Joely Richardson as Lady Sabrina Horniman and Vinnie Jones as Geoff Seacombe.
Among the new entrances are Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Sergio Castellitto, Michele Morrone, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, Chris Eubank Jr. and Maya Jama. The cast also includes Giancarlo Esposito, Daniel Ings, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley and Ray Winstone.
As for the Italian characters, Michele Morrone plays Cico Maldini, an unsettled dealer who Eddie and Susie rely on to move in the Italian criminal market, while Benedetta Porcaroli plays Bella. Sergio Castellitto instead dresses Marco Moretti’s shoes, described as a powerful and ruthless Mafia boss.
The director of the eight episodes is entrusted to Guy Ritchie, Eran Creevy and Nick Rowland. The second season is written by Ritchie and Matthew Read, with Danielle Ward, John Jackson and Iain Weatherby involved in the script. The series is produced by Moonage Pictures for Netflix and Miramax Television.
The Gentlemen 3 è già confermata
Netflix has already officialized the return of The Gentlemen for a third season, once again with Guy Ritchie to direct. The new chapter will consist of eight episodes from about 60 minutes. If the times are fast, it could already arrive in 2027.
