New project for Ellen Pompeo on Hulu (and Disney+). In addition to Chicks’ pilot with Jodie Whittaker, the actress is involved in Not a Sound drama project by David E. Kelley currently in development, inspired by Heather Gudenkauf’s novel. Written by Matthew Tinker and Annakate Chappell, Not a Sound will tell the story of Amelia Winn who remained deaf after an accident, which along with his service dog, will discover a corpse of a former colleague dragging it into a mystery that could reveal the truth about his accident.
Law & Order: SVU
J. Smith-Cameron (Succession) plays a recurring role in the twenty-second season of Law & Order: SVU, will be the jury consultant Gwen Sharpe in the TV series with Mariska Hargitay. The character will be introduced in the premiere of the season 28 scheduled for October 8 on NBC (in Italy the TV series will soon be on Sky and NOW).
Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone
Amazon MGM Studios ordered Everyone in my family killed someone adaptation of Benjamin Stevenson’s novel Everyone in my family killed someone. Penn Badgley will be the protagonist with David Hemingson as showrunner, initially HBO had tried to realize the adaptation of this yellow novel with comical veins. Badgley will be Ern Cunningham writer of yellows who participates badly in a family holiday in the mountains of Vermont, to celebrate the return to the home of his brother Michael after the time in prison, where he had finished the same Ern. When a dead body appears in the snow, Ern will find out how everyone in his family killed someone, for an accident or for other reasons.
